I love this design and think how gr8 it would be to make bespoke patterns for wallpaper or even fabric. You could also do this as a boarder round the skirting where the wallpaper meets the wood or higher up. Flooring is also a fantastic idea round the edges of the rooms. I currently have a few and I use these as door stops. Of course they can be used at a moments notice and then replaced to perform their other function.
